MY STORY
Why The Tutoring Club?
The Tutoring Club - Founded during my final university year, inspired by an episode of Modern Family. Watching Colombian actress Gloria start her own sauce business sparked my reflection on Latin American representation in entrepreneurship and gave me the momentum to start my own.
I chose "The Tutoring Club" as it made me reminiscent of the "After School Clubs" I had to attend as a child, these spaces provided educational and social support for me and my single-parent family - I wanted to replicate this sense of equal belonging and exclusivity.
The Tutoring Club was initially myself, teaching English, now I have other tutors teaching Maths and Sciences. For now, I would like to focus on cementing myself and then the business.
